CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME

Child sponsorship is a process or practice where the our organizations agreed to sponsor a child to provide for its education, health or medical care expenses until it reaches a suitable age. To sponsor a child is the noblest thing we can do as it not only gives the child a better chance at reasonably good life but also enables it to get a good education and eventually land a good job as it can now study for the degree and not just survive in a charitable home.

The more children we sponsor, the brighter their future shall become. Right now 66 children are covered under this programme and we are collaborating with Action Aid, India for this programme

URBAN HOMELESS

Homelessness is the condition and social category of people who lack housing, because they cannot afford, or are otherwise unable to maintain, regular, safe, and adequate shelter in Bangalore city. Health care for the homeless is a major public health challenge. Homeless people are more likely to suffer injuries and medical problems from their lifestyle on the street, which includes poor nutrition, substance abuse, exposure to the severe elements of weather, and a higher exposure to violence (robberies, beatings, and so on). Yet at the same time, they have little access to public medical services or clinics.

Homeless persons often find it difficult to document their date of birth or their address. Because homeless people usually have no place to store possessions, they often lose their belongings, including their identification and other documents, or find them destroyed by police or others. Without a photo ID, homeless persons cannot get a job or access many social services. They can be denied access to even the most basic assistance: clothing closets, food pantries, certain public benefits, and in some cases, emergency shelters.

Keeping it in a view, our organization has been executing an urban homeless programme to make deserving target population to feel safe and get the needed support.
